We’re an established AV integration company working on high-end residential projects, designing and delivering lighting and audio-visual systems into new and existing homes.
We’re looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our design team. This would suit either:
- Someone with experience in a similar AV / lighting / building services / M&E design role, or
- A recent design graduate (Mechanical, Product/Industrial, Building Services or similar) with strong CAD skills.
The Role
- Interpret architectural drawings to produce AV and lighting layouts.
- Create detailed design drawings and documentation for installation.
- Work with sales, engineering, projects and installation teams to ensure systems are installed as designed.
- Liaise with customers on design approvals, updates and sign-off.
- Support the project team with technical queries during install.
About You
- Degree / HND / HNC in a relevant Design or Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Confident using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks or similar).
- Able to read and interpret architectural drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and good organisation skills.
- Comfortable communicating with customers and internal teams.
- Interest in AV, lighting or smart home technology is a plus.
