We’re looking for a mechanically biased Installation & Maintenance Engineer to join a growing business with an excellent reputation. You’ll play a key role installing and maintaining large pumping and plant equipment, supporting customers on-site and keeping machinery running safely and efficiently.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, fault finding, and variety - with the backing of a supportive team and the tools you need to do the job properly.
The Role
You’ll be working on customer sites (typically across the Midlands) carrying out installation, servicing and breakdown support on plant equipment including pumps, valves, hoses and associated systems. Please note: due to client requirements, you may occasionally be required to stay away from home overnight. Suitable accommodation will be arranged, and all expenses will be covered.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing and maintaining plant machinery and pumping equipment
- Attending breakdowns, carrying out repairs and getting equipment back online
- Fault finding and diagnosis
- Completing safety documentation and ensuring compliance on-site
- Maintaining your tools, van stock and equipment
- Ensuring lifting equipment is tested and in date
- Producing clear job reports and paperwork
