Job Title: Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator Location: Grays, Thurrock Pay: £15.50 – £17.00 per hour (depending on experience) We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator to join our team in Grays, Thurrock. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established company, producing high-quality shutters for clients around the UK. Key Responsibilities * Fabrication of sheet metal components to engineering drawings and specifications * Operating fabrication machinery (press brake, guillotine, rollers, etc.) * Measuring, marking, cutting, and assembling materials * Reading and interpreting technical drawings * Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment * Working to deadlines while ensuring quality standards are met Key Experience and Skills and Knowledge * Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or Fabricator * The ideal candidate will have a NVQ / apprenticeship / B-Tec in an engineering discipline. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Good attention to detail and commitment to quality * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Own transport desirable due to location (preferred, not essential) Key Information and Benefits * Competitive pay: £15.50 – £17.00 per hour (DOE) * Permanent, full-time position * Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm * Regular working hours, Monday – Friday (no weekends) * Opportunity to work with an established and supportive team We welcome applications from all individuals and are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive workplace.
