Revit / CAD Designer

We’re an established AV integration company working on high-end residential projects, designing and delivering lighting and audio-visual systems into new and existing homes.\\n\\nWe’re looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our design team. This would suit either:\\n\\nSomeone with experience in a similar AV / lighting / building services / M&E design role, or a recent design graduate (Mechanical, Product/Industrial, Building Services or similar) with strong CAD skills.\\n\\nThe Role\\n\\n * Interpret architectural drawings to produce AV and lighting layouts.\\n\\n * Create detailed design drawings and documentation for installation.\\n\\n * Work with sales, engineering, projects and installation teams to ensure systems are installed as designed.\\n\\n * Liaise with customers on design approvals, updates and sign-off.\\n\\n * Support the project team with technical queries during install.\\n\\nAbout You\\n\\n * Degree / HND / HNC in a relevant Design or Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.\\n\\n * Confident using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks or similar).\\n\\n * Able to read and interpret architectural drawings.\\n\\n * Strong attention to detail and good organisation skills.\\n\\n * Comfortable communicating with customers and internal teams.\\n\\n * Interest in AV, lighting or smart home technology is a plus.\\n\\nWhat’s on Offer\\n\\n * £30,000 – £35,000 basic salary (DOE).\\n\\n * Hybrid working – 2–3 days per week from home.\\n\\n * Performance-related bonus.\\n\\n * Company pension.\\n\\n * Ongoing training & certification opportunities.\\n\\n * Supportive, collaborative team environment.\\n\\n * Flexibility around working hours depending on project needs
