Applications / Project Engineer needed to join a growing and innovative engineering business specialising in bespoke lighting solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with some hands-on engineering experience to join a company offering a varied role across technical support, customer projects, quality inspection and engineering coordination. You will work closely with customers and internal engineering teams, supporting bespoke technical projects from enquiry through to delivery.
The Role
- Producing CAD drawings and technical presentations
- Supporting customers with technical product enquiries
- Producing technical proposals and project documentation
- Supporting project delivery and engineering coordination
- Assisting with product testing, troubleshooting and technical support
- Carrying out quality inspections on incoming components
- Supporting engineering documentation and continuous improvement activities
- Working closely with Engineering, Production and Customer Service teams
Candidate Requirements
- Previous hands-on experience within an engineering environment
- CAD experience is essential, ideally SolidWorks
- Exposure to project engineering, applications engineering, technical sales or customer-facing engineering beneficial
- Mechanical, electrical or electronic engineering knowledge
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on and practical mindset
- Good attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
Salary & Benefits
- Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience
