We are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver to join a busy manufacturing business based in Thurrock. This role will involve working across both the yard and workshop environment, moving large steel products and materials safely around site using a Combi / Side Loader forklift truck. You will support the manufacturing, warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure products are moved, stored and loaded efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating a Combi / Side Loader forklift truck
  • Moving steel products and materials around the yard and workshop
  • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
  • Supporting goods in and dispatch operations
  • Carrying out daily FLT safety checks
  • Ensuring stock is stored, handled and transported safely
  • Assisting with general warehouse and yard duties where required

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience operating a Combi / Side Loader forklift truck
  • Valid FLT licence preferred
  • Experience working within a manufacturing, warehouse or yard environment
  • Comfortable handling large or heavy materials
  • Reliable, hardworking and safety conscious
  • Due to the location, candidates will need to drive and have access to a vehicle

  • Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
  • Early finish every Friday
  • Full-time permanent position
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
