We’re working with a well-established UK manufacturer of commercial security equipment, supplying a range of sectors and clients across the UK. They’re looking to hire a Project Engineer to oversee multiple live projects at any one time, acting as the key link between the end client, the internal workshop/manufacturing team, and the installation/subcontractor teams. This is a hands-on, fast-paced delivery role and would suit someone who enjoys being out on site, keeping momentum, solving problems, and taking ownership. Your working week will see you working with customers onsite around 65% of the time, with the remaining time spent office-based supporting quotations, follow-ups and project administration.
The Role
- Managing multiple projects concurrently from order through to installation and handover
- Liaising with end clients, integrators, and main contractors
- Coordinating internal workshop production schedules and priorities
- Managing installation teams and subcontractors on-site
- Ensuring project timelines, site readiness and logistics are planned ahead
- Keeping projects moving by chasing actions, resolving issues early, and communicating clearly
- Supporting commercial/project administration where required
