Supplying high-quality products to restaurants, commercial customers and online consumers, the business is continuing to grow and is now looking to recruit a Butcher's Assistant to support its experienced butchery team. The Role
Working alongside experienced Butchers, you will support the day-to-day operation of the business by preparing products for dispatch and ensuring the working environment remains organised and efficient. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Butchers with the preparation of customer orders
- Packing and labelling products accurately
- Weighing and portioning products as instructed
- Preparing orders for commercial and online customers
- Maintaining stock and storage areas
- Ensuring food hygiene and food safety standards are maintained at all times
- Cleaning and maintaining work areas and equipment
- Assisting with goods-in and stock rotation
- Supporting the wider team as required
