We are expanding and we’re looking for a practical, mechanically minded engineer to join our workshop team. Perfect for someone with basic mechanical experience, whether from an apprenticeship, a mechanical college course, or time served.
The Role:
- Mechanical fitting and system build mechanical equipment
- Working with hydraulic and electro-mechanical components (full training given)
- Testing, calibration and reporting
- Basic fault-finding and problem solving
- Supporting workshop processes, tooling and stock control
What You Need:
- Some hands-on mechanical experience (apprenticeship, college, or 6–18 months in a similar practical role)
- Confidence using tools and working with mechanical components
- A willingness to learn electro-mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Good communication and a proactive approach
- Full clean driving licence
What We Offer:
- £35,000 salary, rising to £38,000 after 6 months
- Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm
- Overtime at 1.5x
