An established manufacturing and engineering business based in Thurrock is looking to recruit an experienced AutoCAD Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong AutoCAD experience who enjoys working closely with customers, sales, and production teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing customer enquiries, producing technical drawings, preparing quotations, and supporting projects from initial enquiry through to manufacture.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing technical drawings using AutoCAD
- Preparing quotations and costings from customer specifications
- Interpreting technical drawings and customer requirements
- Liaising with customers regarding drawings, pricing, and amendments
- Working closely with manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, and sales teams
- Supporting projects from enquiry through to production
- Managing multiple enquiries and projects simultaneously
- Ensuring accurate technical information is provided to production teams
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong AutoCAD experience
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
