Access Control & CCTV Engineer Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience) Location: Ideally based in Harlow, Stevenage, Ware, or Welwyn area (must be within easy reach of the office for kit collection 1-2 times per week) We are seeking an experienced security systems engineer to join our team in a servicing capacity. You will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting intruder alarms, access control systems, and CCTV solutions. Our preferred systems include Texecom intruder alarms and Paxton access control, though we work with a variety of brands. Key Responsibilities: * Attend scheduled service visits * Diagnose and repair faults on intruder, access control, and CCTV systems * Install and configure security equipment as required * Liaise with customers to ensure a professional and efficient service * Participate in the optional out-of-hours rota (1 day per week) * Collect and return equipment to the office regularly Requirements: * Proven experience with intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV systems * Familiarity with Texecom and Paxton systems preferred * Full UK driving licence * Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Based within a reasonable distance of the office for regular kit collection * Strong customer service skills and professional communication Key information * Company van (business and personal use) * Optional out-of-hours rota (£1,500 per annum for 1 day per week – tech calls only) * Overtime paid pro-rata for travel time beyond the included allowance * 8 hours on-site per day, 1 hour each way travel time included (additional travel paid as overtime)
