Searles Leisure Resort is a long-established, family-run holiday resort located on the beautiful Norfolk coastline in Hunstanton. With over 70 years of heritage, the resort is known for its friendly, welcoming atmosphere and strong community values.

Job Purpose

To be the face of Searles for customers entering the new Owners Excellence and Holiday Homes sales centre. Make customers feel welcome and support both the Owners Excellence and Sales teams, and announce appointments to other departments housed in the centre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet customers.
  • Offer refreshments to guests waiting.
  • Assist with administration duties for the Owners Excellence and Sales teams.
  • Maintain the Costa Coffee machine.
  • Follow company procedures to ensure excellent consistent standards are met.
  • Comply with all Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Perform any other relevant duties as required by Supervisor and/or Senior Management.
  • Act as an ambassador for the business and promote the company to all customers on all occasions.
  • Support the company’s mission and objectives through compliance to Policies and Procedures.
  • Be involved in owners events when needed, which may entail out-of-hours work for fun evening/weekend events.

Days & Hours of Work

2 positions are available, covering 7 days a week. Position 1: 20 hours per week over 3 days (average) e.g. Thurs, Fri, Sat. Position 2: 27 hours per week over 4 days (average) e.g. Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed. Bank holidays and weekends are required, with flexibility to meet business needs and cover absences such as holidays. Working hours example: 9 am – 5 pm during the main season, reducing to a 6-hour day in the winter months. Wages £12.75 per hour, weekly paid.

Education, Training & Experience

No experience necessary; full training will be given. Front of house or reception duties will be a benefit. Computer literate, understanding of Microsoft Word and Outlook, required to learn company software for reporting work requests, sourcing customer details, emailing, uploading information on holiday homes to our website or 3rd party websites, and a knowledge of social media to assist sales would be beneficial. Teamwork skills and the ability to act as the public face of the business.
