Site Cleaning Operative

Hours of Work: 20 hours per week, Seasonal Fixed term until 31/10/2026.
Reporting to: Hygiene Manager.
Job Purpose: As a Site Cleaning Operative, you will be an essential part of the Site Clean Team. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across Searles Leisure Resort, including venues, toilets, offices, holiday homes stock and facilities, ensuring they meet excellent company standards. The key focus is maintaining excellent customer service and care while managing health and safety within the workplace. You will support the Company’s mission and objectives through compliance with Policies and Procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain clean and tidy areas across the Resort: vacuuming, mopping floors, dusting surfaces, washing up and cleaning various facilities.
- Clean windows and glass partitions and dress holiday home sales stock for viewing, then undress once sold and hand over a clean unit for new owners.
- Report any damage, defects or non‑functioning items within the holiday home.
- Carry out other cleaning and housekeeping duties as required.
- Prepare Holiday Home Sales Units to company standards.
- Follow all company procedures to ensure consistent, high‑quality standards.
- Comply with relevant regulations and policies, including the Data Protection Act, Health & Safety and Safeguarding.
- Complete any required in‑house training and participate in team meetings.
- Act as an ambassador for the business, promoting the Company positively to customers at all times.
- Perform any additional cleaning tasks as directed by the Manager.
- Support the Company’s mission and objectives through adherence to all Policies and Procedures.

Education, Training & Experience
- Previous professional cleaning experience (desirable, not essential).
- Coshh awareness (training provided).
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to represent the business positively.

- Full valid UK driving licence (desirable).
