Searcys are looking for a Sales & Events Executive to join the team at 116 Pall Mall. As a Sales & Events Executive, you will be generating sales and maximising events for the venue, working on reactive and proactive sales enquiries and planning a wide variety of events including intimate gatherings and weddings, allowing you to show exquisite detail, service excellence and showstopping food.

116 Pall Mall is a stunning Georgian venue dating back to 1820 in the heart of London. Originally designed by John Nash, the architect behind Marble Arch and Brighton Pavilion. This venue benefits from traditional meeting rooms to glamorous chandelier-filled ballrooms.

As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and overseeing the planning and execution of high-profile events. This role is perfect for a sales-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in event sales and planning.

Role Main Purpose:

  • Deliver sales into the venue to achieve the monthly and annual sales target.
  • Receive incoming enquiries in accordance with the Sales Department standards and procedures and convert them into confirmed business.
  • Conduct show rounds and client visits to a high standard.
  • Help oversee the diary ensuring that all information is accurate, up to date and that all the correct revenue has been inputted.
  • Ensure venue product knowledge and seasonal menus are communicated to clients and actively upsell to increase average spends and revenue opportunities.
  • Create and complete function sheets – detailing all event requirements from start to finish.
  • Ensure in-house accounting policies are adhered to and checked.
  • Ensuring billing invoices are completed within agreed time frames and debt is chased.
  • Maintain good working relationship with the venue and other Searcys sites.
  • Ensure accurate billing for all assigned events.
  • Prepare proposals for new enquiries, ensuring venue standards are adhered to and contain best fit/feature expectations for client and maximising yield and revenue.
  • All sales procedures and administration correspondence duties are up to date and completed in a timely fashion as per agreed KPI’s (Proposals, Contracts, Follow-ups and Deposit schedule/payments).
  • Support the sales team to identify and support new leads for future business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in event sales within a high-end venue, hotel, or catering company.
  • A strong sales mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional events and client experiences.
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge of London’s events and hospitality market is an advantage.
