We are looking for an experienced Receptionist to assist in the day to day running of the Brasserie and Champagne Bar. The role requires greeting guests, taking reservations, and ensuring all information is captured and correct. The receptor must be flexible with start times, starting as early as 9 am and finishing as late as 11 pm. The position is for an immediate start.
Responsibilities:
- Greet all guests on entering the building and make them feel welcome.
- Ensure that all check‑in and check‑out procedures are adhered to.
- Take reservations and verify all information is correct.
- Record and distribute messages swiftly.
- Ensure the dress and appearance of all persons entering the restaurant is acceptable and compliant with the rules.
- Maintain the reception area clean and tidy at all times.
- Communicate with the manager and team if any assistance is needed.
- Pass on customer feedback to the appropriate manager.
- Use your expertise to help customers.
- Work collaboratively as a part of the team.
- Maintain a guest‑focused attitude through visible and proactive communication.
- Project a willing and helpful attitude to customers.
- Provide professional and friendly service to all customers.
- Carry out duties to the required standards.
- Adhere to any rosters or schedules laid down by your manager.
- Act as a positive ambassador for the business.
