Searcys are looking for a Members Operation Manager to join the team at the HAC. The Members Operation Manager will focus on supporting members and their guests, across all areas and all types of events. They will oversee the planning, booking and execution of all member activities and develop the member communications alongside the GM. They will ensure the smooth day-to-day management of all members areas in line with the defined HAC standards and member expectations.

The HAC is quite unlike any other City event venue; a magnificent Georgian house set in a five-acre garden. This unique, historic London venue offers a wide variety of event spaces and a unique outdoor space nestled within the city backdrop.

The Members Operation Manager will be working as part of an exciting events operations team to deliver the food & beverage, event operations at a large selection of event spaces. They will also lead the front of house operation on assigned events, providing a comprehensive briefing to all team members involved in the delivery of the event.

Salary: £40K

Responsibilities:

  • To be Member focused at all times, by being visible during all service periods, approachable and quick to solve problems and exceed expectations.
  • To oversee all Sutling areas, all member events and the overall member Sutling experience.
  • Responsible for delivering the members social events calendar.
  • Responsible for overseeing the booking, organisation and delivery of all regimental and member dining and events.
  • To meet and greet members on members events.
  • For those events not overseen personally, to ensure a seamless and comprehensive handover to the supporting event manager.
  • To build and maintain engaging relationships with all members.
  • Responsible for delivering a 5* service across all member areas.
  • To oversee the restaurant manager to deliver an efficient lunch booking process and service, value for money, key specific set menus and events, and maintain the wine list and bar menus.
  • To oversee the members events coordinator and the smooth booking and organisation of events.
  • To oversee the smooth functioning of the Sutling Room.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in event management
  • Thorough understanding of the event and meeting management process from conception to completion
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, creative environment and able to work well under pressure
  • Meticulous organizational abilities; high attention to detail
  • Concise and effective verbal and written communication
  • Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective
  • Excellent strategic thinking and critical reasoning skills
  • Creative, positive energy, self-directed, amiable, and composed under pressure; helpful and humble
