Searcys are looking for a Venue Sourcing Executive to join The Collection Events. The Collection is a complimentary venue finding agency within the Searcys family, based in Central London. We represent a portfolio of incredible venues and event spaces across London and the UK. Our mission is to grow event bookings across our group venues while connecting clients to the perfect locations for their meetings, conferences, dinners, and any other MICE needs.

As a Venue Sourcing Executive, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our team with venue finding, client management, and business growth. This is a fast-paced and varied position, ideal for someone with a passion for events, hospitality, and exceptional client service, who is ready to take the next step in their career within the events industry.

You will work closely with clients to research and source venues, prepare creative proposals, and negotiate contracts to deliver seamless event solutions. Alongside venue sourcing, you will help manage key client accounts and support sales and marketing initiatives that drive growth for The Collection and our partner venues.

Salary: £33,000 basic annual salary, 40 hours contract. Eligible for up to 20% of your annual salary as a bonus, dependent on performance and the successful completion of your probation period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support with end-to-end venue sourcing, from receiving the client brief to final proposal and contract handover.
  • Research and shortlist venues that meet event requirements using our internal databases.
  • Prepare and present clear, creative venue proposals and cost comparisons.
  • Liaise with venues to confirm availability, negotiate rates, and gather detailed information for clients.
  • Assist with site visits and event-related meetings to ensure a smooth client experience.
  • Monitor and record all leads and bookings accurately within the CRM to ensure efficient reporting and follow-up.
  • Support the team in delivering account management plans for key accounts, ensuring clients are regularly contacted, updated, and engaged to encourage repeat business, including proactive face-to-face meetings.
  • Work towards personal and team sales targets, contributing to the overall success of The Collection Events.
  • Support, where needed, in delivering elements of the annual marketing plan, ensuring consistency with brand values and tone.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years' experience in a venue finding, event coordination, or hospitality sales role.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with great attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with a friendly, professional manner.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys building relationships and supporting others.
  • A passion for events, hospitality, and delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Comfortable using digital tools such as CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
