Searcys are looking for Pastry Chef De Partie to join Searcys Events at High Wycombe. Working as a Pastry Chef de Partie for Searcys will require you to be an ambassador for this brand and deliver food that creates lasting memories. As a Chef de Partie you will work across all sections of the kitchen and support the Exec/Head Chef in the day to day running of the venue. We create fabulous events whatever or wherever the space. We've shown time and again that we know our clients inside out, providing outstanding hospitality in complex and historically or culturally sensitive spaces. Job Type: Casual Contract

Salary: £18 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide food/service to a consistent high standard, including assisting senior chefs with functions in other different areas throughout the business.
  • Responsible to manage stock levels of the section you are overseeing including ordering when required.
  • Ensure the presentation of the food is consistent with the standards set by senior chefs.
  • To ensure all Health, Hygiene and Safety requirements are being adhered to.
  • Any other reasonable request by the Senior Management.

Qualifications

  • Very well organised and ability to prioritise work load
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent standards
  • Experience in working in a 5 star hotel or Michelin star restaurant is desirable
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
