Searcys is seeking an Event Floor Manager to join the team at the Inner Temple. As the Restaurant Supervisor, you will ensure effective management and efficient service of the catering operation in the restaurant from Monday to Friday. The Honourable Society of The Inner Temple, situated on the banks of the Thames, is one of the few remaining Georgian style event halls in the City of London. Together with its surroundings of a three‑acre stunning garden, it offers a unique backdrop to a wide variety of events.

Job Description
Salary: £31,200, plus overtime and enhanced holiday
Hours: 40 hours per week
Key responsibilities:
- Be detail-driven and ensure that all food and beverage offerings are presented to the highest standard.
- Oversee the operations of the weekday serviced lunch operation in our Hall and manage the team to ensure the highest standards are provided.
- Manage opening and closing duties for the catering operation.
- Brief teams at the start of each service and event.
- Communicate confidently with valued guests, senior figures, different departments and members of the management team.
- Support training and development of the Front of House team.
Qualifications
- Excellent product knowledge (food/beverage)
- Experience in running large events and dinners
- Strong business acumen
- Lead by example by acting professionally at all times
- Excellent communication skills
- Responds quickly to drive business through periods of low demand
- Takes the initiative
- Excellent time management
