Searcys are looking for an Events Floor Manager to join the team at the Honourable Society of The Inner Temple. Our Event Floor Managers at the Inner Temple ensure the effective management and efficient service of the catering operation. They are detail driven and ensure all food and beverage offerings are presented to the highest standard. The Honourable Society of The Inner Temple, situated on the banks of the Thames, is one of the few remaining Georgian style event halls in the City of London. Teamed with its surroundings of a three acre private garden, the Inner Temple is one of Searcys' most exquisite event venues.

Salary: £33,500
Hours: 42.5 hours per week
Contract: 5 days out of 7, overtime hours paid
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising the service of a daily seated buffet lunch, ensuring staff are prepped and briefed on the daily menu.
- To manage the opening and closing duties for the catering operation.
- To implement and consistently monitor the practice of all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- To be confident communicating with valued guests, senior figures at the venue, different departments and members of the management team.
- To assist in the effective management of any negative feedback, complaints or client issues.
- To support and manage the training and development of the FOH team in line with the company and venue standards.
- To assist in the onboarding, sign-in-and-out of all team members including agency staffing.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years managing/supervising events in a 4-star (or equivalent) hospitality establishment.
- Proven track record of managing a FOH team in a catering environment.
- Valid Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
- Personal Licence (desirable)
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Takes initiative
- Demonstrates a high level of organisation and time management
