Company Description

Searcys are looking for a Bar Team Leader to assist the Operations Team to deliver seamless service to all areas of the venue. The HAC is quite unlike any other City event venue; a magnificent Georgian house set in a five-acre garden. This unique, historic London venue offers a wide variety of event spaces and a unique outdoor space nestled within the city backdrop.

Job Type: 10-12 Hours per week

Salary: £15.50 per hour

Main Purpose:

You will oversee service during events, private dining dinners as well as restaurant, bar and lounge services. You will be required to run stations during the bar service and oversee the team to ensure all standards are followed and adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional service to our guests
  • To successfully participate in the delivery of all food and beverage services
  • Take part in the setup of all events
  • Nurture and develop new bartenders
  • Stocktaking of beverage, glassware and bar equipment
  • Stock rotation management
  • Adhere to all company policies and departmental procedures/trainings
  • Liaise with key people in all necessary areas of the business to ensure the provision of food and service is consistent and in line with menu/standards set by the managers
  • Deal effectively and courteously with guest requests, and to refer them to the line manager, if necessary
  • To ensure that all legislative and Government guidelines are adhered to, including The Food Safety Act, Health and Safety at Work Act, the COSHH regulations, etc. within the areas of responsibility including all other requirements as described in the Searcys Health & Safety Policy.
