Searcys is seeking a Kitchen Administrator to join the team at 116 Pall Mall. The role involves implementing and managing procedures to ensure smooth operation of all back-of-house catering areas, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and Searcys policies.
Located in a stunning Georgian venue dating back to 1820 in London, originally designed by John Nash, 116 Pall Mall offers traditional meeting rooms and glamorous ballrooms.

The role is Monday to Friday, overseeing the organization and cleanliness of kitchen and back-of-house areas, ensuring compliance with food safety and health & safety standards.
Salary: Β£36,050 per annum
Contract: 45 hours/week
Responsibilities include:
- Managing deliveries, checking items against orders, recording discrepancies, and stock distribution
- Maintaining records for food safety, temperature logs, stock levels, and training
- Coordinating stock control, rotation, storage, stocktakes, and updating inventory
- Processing invoices and liaising with suppliers and finance
- Supporting procurement and supplier relationships
- Implementing SOPs and ensuring compliance with legislation like HACCP and COSHH
- Assisting with training, risk assessments, and accident procedures
- Attending meetings and communicating with staff and management
- Providing operational support across kitchen areas and events, including weekends
- Demonstrating leadership and high service standards
- Supporting the Exec/Head Chef in maintaining standards and client satisfaction
- Exhibiting excellent communication and analytical skills, with a focus on health and safety practices
