Searcys is seeking a Hospitality Supervisor to work in one of its City-based venues. The client at this venue is a globally renowned law firm. This role is based on a B&I contract near Barbican.

You will work closely with the Hospitality Manager, supporting the operations team, chefs, and sales staff to deliver flawless service and exceptional food and drinks. The role involves building strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and executing details with quality and a human touch. This position is Monday to Friday, on-site in the City of London.

Job Details:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Salary: £32,000, with overtime paid at x1.5

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure successful delivery of events
  • Train staff and casual labour as needed
  • Monitor departmental standards and report concerns
  • Liaise with kitchen, events, reception, and other departments to ensure standards
  • Meet clients, ensure event requirements are met, and communicate changes
  • Handle customer complaints courteously and escalate if necessary
  • Conduct safety and maintenance checks and report issues
  • Adhere to in-house accounting policies and monitor stock
  • Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures and report discrepancies
  • Monitor staff timesheets for accuracy

Minimum 2 years of people management experience. Excellent product knowledge (food and beverage). Experience in managing large events and dinners. Lead by example with professionalism. Show initiative and be a team player. Provide excellent customer care.
