Searcys are looking for a Commis Chef to join the team at the our unique Venue at The Kings Fund.

Working as Commis Chef for Searcys will require you to be an ambassador for this brand and deliver food that creates lasting memories.

You will not only support the Sous/Head Chef in the day to day running of the venue but also act as a mentor to the junior kitchen brigade.

Salary

£14.80 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Reports into Senior Kitchen team.
  • Working closely with the Senior Chefs to grow in skillset and develop further within the kitchen team.
  • To produce such dishes as required by Senior Kitchen Team to high standards and to ensure sufficient mis–en–place for the whole day service.
  • To inform Head Chef / Senior Kitchen Team of any shortages of supplies throughout service.
  • To cook and prepare staff food asrequired.
  • To manage your section with pride and undertake all your tasks diligently, always being a team player.
  • To attend all training and development courses as requested by Searcys.
  • To ensure that all legislative and Government guidelines are adhered to, including (but not exclusively) The Food Safety Act, Health and Safety at Work Act, COSHH regulations, and all Company and Client policies and procedures.
  • To always represent Searcys in a professional manner through your behaviour, appearance and knowledge.
