Searcys are looking for a Events Porter to join the team at 116 Pall Mall.
Responsible for providing a clean and safe working area adhering to Searcys Health and Safety requirements.
Receiving, counting, inspecting and storing goods and equipment and dispense or dispose of them to/from departments as and when required.
You will be required to set up of furniture (tables, chairs) in the meeting rooms and event spaces and have basic AV skills.

Job Description
Responsible for providing a clean and safe working area following Searcy Health and Safety requirements. receiving, counting, inspecting, and storing goods and/or equipment and dispensing or disposing of them to/from departments as and when required.
- Job Type: 0 hours contract
- Hourly Rate: £14.80
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries against delivery notes, reporting any discrepancies promptly.
- Set up, move, and dismantle venue equipment and furniture according to event requirements and client specifications.
- Handle all equipment safely to protect the venue, furnishings, and stock.
- Coordinate professionally with couriers, clients, and delivery drivers.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety in all back-of-house areas.
- Manage liquor stock, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, tracking, and reporting of any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of goods, equipment, alcohol stock movements, and related documentation.
- Support administrative tasks, including monthly stock takes and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, fire regulations, licensing requirements, and other legal obligations.
- Monitor facilities for maintenance issues and report repairs as needed.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties requested by management.
