Searcys are looking for a Barista to join the team at Bar Giorgio at the National Gallery. As a Barista for Searcys you will support the Cafe Manager in the everyday running of the venue, deliver service excellence to our guests and take ownership of the coffee bar independently. The role will be based in the newly refurbished Sainsburys wing at The National Gallery.

The Barista will oversee the Bar area, supporting the team to deliver exceptional service, creating and maintaining drinks and service standards while driving sales through upselling and repeat guests.

Salary: £14.80 per hour
Zero hours contract
Working 5 days over 7
Gallery opening hours are 10-6 excluding Fridays that will be 10-9.

Qualifications:

  • Friendly, outgoing personality; a people person.
  • Good listening & verbal communication skills
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer service
  • Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the food service industry, is often a plus
  • Some knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
