Searcys are looking for a Barista / Cafe Assistant to join the team at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. You will be responsible for providing service excellence to our customers, guests, and clients within the in-house staff cafe "The Hub", an area for RICS staff to relax and unwind.
Our Barista at RICS will offer the highest standard of service in terms of service, presentation, and efficiency. Working within our friendly team, you will be amongst our guests, experiencing the fantastic views of London.

Key Responsibilities:
- To help set up the cafe area and coffee bar, ready for each service
- To provide counter service for breakfast & lunch offering
- To help with any clearing and general cleaning duties
- To check and put away any food and beverage after service
- To ensure wastage forms are completed
- To restock the fridge for the next day
- To ensure all labels and prices are correct
- To work on tills and follow the Searcys cash handling procedures
Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the food service industry, is often a plus. Some knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is also beneficial.
