The Sous Chef at the Barber-Surgeons Hall will work hands on for the operational productivity of the kitchen department and its operational standards.
Salary: £45,000

Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure weekly hall menus are developed and improved upon on a regular basis.
- To oversee and assist in the preparation and presentation of all meals and service across Events.
- To oversee, manage and lead catering functions.
- To organise sections stock and ingredients, both preparation and stock holding.
- Keep record of food production volumes, waste, stock holding and food cost concerns.
- To assist the Executive Chef and Head Chef with future menu creations.
- To manage and motivate the team.
Qualifications:
- Be driven by people and delivering the highest quality of food.
- Exemplary kitchen management practices and being an ambassador for Searcys legacy brand.
- Innovative and inspiring culinary ideas for events and restaurant menus.
- Create a professional working environment for the team ensuring that company standards are maintained and that Client expectations are met.
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef in Events, Hotels or Restaurants.
