We’re recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing, technology-led logistics business that is transforming how parcels move through the e-commerce delivery network.
The company is looking for a hands-on Shift Manager to lead sortation operations at its London site.
You’ll take ownership of a busy shift, manage a frontline operational team and ensure targets for safety, productivity, quality and service are consistently achieved.
What you’ll be doing
- Overseeing parcel-sortation operations throughout your shift
- Leading, motivating and coaching a team of site operatives
- Allocating people and resources according to operational demand
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and training
- Maintaining and improving health and safety standards
- Monitoring performance data and addressing operational issues
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and service quality
