My client are seeking an experienced Project Controls Risk Manager to support the delivery of some of the UK's most complex and high-profile capital programmes across infrastructure, nuclear, and defence sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to work with major clients on nationally significant projects, helping organisations make informed decisions through robust risk management, quantitative analysis, and integrated project controls. As a trusted advisor, you will lead risk management activities across the full project lifecycle, ensuring uncertainty is understood, managed, and effectively communicated to stakeholders at all levels.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead the development and implementation of project and programme risk management frameworks.
- Develop, maintain, and analyse project risk registers.
- Monitor risk exposure and drive effective mitigation strategies.
- Support governance and assurance activities.
What We're Looking For:
Essential Experience
- Significant experience within Project Controls, Risk Management, or Programme Controls environments.
- Experience supporting major capital projects within one or more of the following sectors: Heavy Civil Infrastructure, Nuclear, Defence, Transportation, Energy.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle delivery and governance.
Technical Skills
- Experience with some or all of the following: Primavera P6, Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis (PRA), Active Risk Manager (ARM), Power BI, Advanced Excel.
Security Clearance - Due to the nature of some assignments, candidates may be required to obtain or hold UK Security Clearance (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
