We’re recruiting for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing Internal IT team in Manchester. This is a newly created, high-impact role for a hands-on infrastructure professional who can take ownership of core IT infrastructure, lead complex technical projects and help drive cloud and Microsoft transformation strategy.
This is a hands-on role focused on Azure/cloud migration, Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and modern infrastructure, with the opportunity to lead key technical projects.
Key Requirements
- 4+ years’ Infrastructure Engineering experience
- Proven experience leading on-premises → Azure migrations
- Strong Entra ID & Microsoft 365 experience, including migrating away from on-prem environments
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, networking and firewalls
- Strong endpoint/infrastructure experience with Intune
- Experience leading technical projects and acting as a senior escalation point
- On-prem/hybrid AD → Entra ID migration – ideally led and delivered personally
- DHCP/firewall migration or implementation in a new environment
- Nice to have: Autopilot and Entra ID SSO / Enterprise Applications
