We are recruiting for a dynamic and rapidly expanding international organization at the forefront of the payment industry, providing end-to-end solutions that empower businesses to efficiently accept payments, manage payouts, and expand globally.
The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Head of IT to lead our clients global IT operations. This is a priority role, offering a unique opportunity to shape IT strategy and infrastructure across multiple international locations. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and secure operation of IT systems, supporting our continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a small, globally distributed team of 3-4 IT professionals.
- Oversee all aspects of device management, including setup, configuration, and maintenance of laptops and other endpoints.
- Drive the effective utilization and management of Microsoft Intune for device deployment, security, and compliance.
- Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and other M365 services.
- Develop and implement robust BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) policies and solutions to ensure secure and efficient integration.
- Provide hands-on technical support and problem resolution for complex IT issues.
- Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and best practices to support the organization's international growth.
- Manage IT vendor relationships and procurement.
- Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of all IT systems and data.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience running IT operations for international, medium-sized organizations (e.g., 200-1000 employees) rather than very large enterprises.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and comprehensive device management.
- Strong expertise in administering and leveraging Microsoft 365 suite.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and manage BYOD strategies.
- Experience leading and mentoring a small, globally distributed IT team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to IT management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Based in Manchester, UK, with the ability to work from our office.
