Due to the continued growth of this team, our client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support their customers across the EU.
The company is owned by an institutional investor in renewable energy and is recognised as a leader in technological innovation within the sector.
As part of a global team of wind turbine monitoring engineers and analysts, you will provide client support.
Responsibilities
You will lead regional projects focused on connecting machinery to the database and delivering high-quality wind turbine health monitoring services to our clients.
Provide an excellent wind turbine condition health monitoring service to customers in our EU region
Monitor asset performance using their software and report on alarms and asset health
Support the new customer onboarding process, contributing to the effective mobilisation of services to new customers
Identify opportunities to provide added-value services to customers around performance such as consulting and training
Ensure that the health monitoring service provided to our customers is of the highest possible quality standard.
Work with colleagues around the world to identify and develop service improvement opportunities.
Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years experience of condition monitoring and asset health management in renewables
Undergraduate degree in relevant STEM subject (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics).
Sound knowledge of dynamics of rotating machinery engineering and vibration analysis.
Any Python or Matlab programming experience; networking/connectivity knowledge, including large/automated data transfer, VPN technologies, and databases
Good knowledge of data mining or machine learning testing, measurement and data processing techniques, signal processing, feature extraction, regression analysis
Ideal – UK IMechE qualified or working towards; Mobius Institute
Any Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills; PhD and or Masters degree
