A leading organisation in the smart energy and utilities space is looking for a Business Analyst to join its Product & Change team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping smarter energy solutions within a regulated, fast-moving environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Product & Change Director, you’ll drive requirements gathering, process improvement, and change delivery across multiple initiatives. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across operations, product, and technical teams to turn complex challenges into clear, actionable solutions. The relevant candidate will need experience working across multiple change programmes at the same time, whilst working in an agile environment. You will manage 1 Junior BA, so ideally you'll have experience leading someone day to day.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Capture and document detailed business requirements
- Analyse processes, systems, and workflows to identify improvements
- Support change impact assessments and communication plans
- Prioritise backlogs with Product & Operations teams
- Produce high-quality documentation including use cases, test approaches, and success criteria
- Support defect analysis, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a regulated environment (Ideally utilities or telecoms)
- Strong requirements documentation and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communicator with a structured, analytical mindset
- Comfortable working hands-on in dynamic change programmes
Salary up to £60K + benefits.
