A product-led tech company is hiring a Senior Cloud / DevOps Architect to build and scale the core cloud infrastructure powering its next-generation platform. This is a foundational, high-urgency hire; without this role, nothing else ships. You will architect a production-grade, auto-scaling microservices platform designed to handle high-volume, real-world workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy cloud-native infrastructure (GCP preferred)
- Own Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform / CDK) and define reusable golden path templates
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD)
- Design for auto-scaling, resilience, and failure testing (chaos engineering)
- Manage container orchestration (Kubernetes / GKE / EKS)
- Implement observability, monitoring, and performance tuning
Requirements
- Strong experience with AWS or GCP at production scale (multi-AZ, auto-scaling systems)
- Deep expertise in Terraform (or similar IaC tools)
- Hands-on with Kubernetes / containerised microservices
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and observability stacks (e.g. Datadog, Grafana)
