We're partnering with an organisation delivering a major UK infrastructure programme and are looking for an experienced Operational Performance Manager to drive operational excellence across a complex, national delivery programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in improving operational performance, managing supplier delivery, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring key programme targets are achieved.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing end-to-end operational performance across the delivery pipeline
  • Driving supplier and contractor performance against KPIs and SLAs
  • Leading operational recovery plans and backlog reduction initiatives
  • Managing risks, issues and escalations to keep delivery on track
  • Using operational data and insights to improve performance
  • Working cross-functionally to deliver operational and system improvements
  • Reporting performance and recovery plans to senior stakeholders

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in operational performance management within utilities, infrastructure or service delivery
  • Strong supplier and contractor management experience
  • Excellent understanding of KPI, SLA and operational performance management
  • Experience delivering operational improvements and recovery plans
  • Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to influence and drive change

Desirable experience:

  • Utilities, energy or smart metering
  • Regulated environments
  • NEC contracts
  • Power BI or similar reporting tools
