We are looking for a Platform Engineer to help design, build and operate modern cloud platforms that enable engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable software at pace. You will work closely with product teams across API, UI, Data and QA to improve infrastructure, CI/CD, observability and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have somewhere around 3-5 years experience, although this isn’t set in stone.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Own and improve CI/CD pipelines/templates for frequent, safe releases
  • Implement observability (logging, metrics, dashboards, alerts, tracing)
  • Support performance, resilience, scalability and security requirements
  • Champion incident management, runbooks and post-incident reviews
  • Standardise tooling and platform patterns; contribute to documentation
  • Interacting with clients regularly.

Tech skills:

  • Experience with Azure and/or AWS (ARM/Bicep, Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation)
  • Strong CI/CD knowledge (Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions)
  • Container experience (Docker, Kubernetes and/or Azure Container Apps)
  • Solid networking fundamentals (DNS, HTTP, TLS, load balancing)
  • Observability tooling (App Insights, Prometheus/Grafana, Elastic or similar)
  • Cloud security best practices (IAM, secrets, least privilege)
  • Comfortable with Git, multi-environment deployments, Jira/Azure Boards

If you’re proactive, curious, and passionate about platforms and reliability, we’d love to hear from you. You will be required to advise clients on ways of working, so confident communication skills are required. If this is of interest, please submit your CV and I’ll be in touch as soon as possible.
