An exciting opportunity for a Senior / Lead QA Test Engineer to join a forward-thinking software consultancy working on innovative enterprise solutions. You’ll play a key role in ensuring quality across the full software lifecycle — from defining acceptance criteria and test strategy to hands-on automation, performance testing, and mentoring others. You’ll work in a modern agile environment using cutting-edge tools and practices, driving continuous improvement and helping shape best-in-class quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and refine acceptance criteria and test plans in Azure DevOps
- Perform exploratory, functional, and data validation testing using SQL
- Build and maintain automated test suites (Playwright, Cypress, etc.)
- Execute API and performance tests (Postman, JMeter, Bruno)
- Support CI/CD pipelines (Azure Pipelines, Jenkins)
- Log and manage defects effectively, ensuring timely resolution
- Mentor team members and promote a strong quality culture
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in manual and automated testing
- Proficiency with JavaScript / TypeScript
- Good understanding of API testing, automation frameworks, and CI/CD
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter)
- Familiarity with Git and Azure Boards
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bonus: Experience working with AI or LLM integrations
