This is a corporation with a US turnover of 22 billion and a European turnover of 9 billion. However, this is no legacy business, nor corporate culture environment. The marketing team has a more marketing agency culture, but client-side – best of both worlds. This European wide company is an enterprise, modern business environment, with product areas in next generation SaaS digital platforms to green tech, and much more. There are 14 business areas in the company operating throughout Europe, with strong ethics in the future of industry.
If you’re looking for the client-side move but a fun, marketing agency culture, this Digital Designer role offers the advantages and brilliance of both.
Digital Designer role: Works within the internal creative and digital agency team; designers, copywriters, video/animation and multi-channel digital marketing agency team to implement digital communications. Working into the Creative Lead who’s from top digital agency environments. The internal studio digital agency team supports the Marketing Strategy Heads, Leads and Execs who work across the 14 different business brand areas across Europe.
As part of the studio team, the Digital Designer will work across a broad range of creative across all digital channels, print, animation and video briefs. They are looking for a Digital Designer who can take the lead with ‘video brand guidelines’ and interrogate a brief, ask challenging questions, think strategically and help scope out a solution to exceed stakeholder expectations – and be able to get across the creative rationale.
Skills in Adobe After Effects, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator and ideally some video editing are required.
The European Marketing Director is also from an agency background. The reason she stayed and worked through to her Head role is the people. It’s fun, varied with opportunity, not really for someone used to long processes and procedures to evolve and implement strategy.
