A CRM acquisition and retention strategy role. 6 month contract (initially). Hybrid. 2 days a week with the wider marketing team and creative digital studio in the Leeds office.

This is a corporation with a US turnover of 22 billion and a European turnover of 9 billion. The marketing team has a more marketing agency culture, but client-side best of both worlds. This European wide company is an enterprise, modern business environment, with product areas in next generation SaaS digital platforms to green tech, and much more. Strong ethics in the future of industry.

The Digital Marketing Manager role works in a team on one of the company's core brands and is part of a wider 50 person marketing team covering other business areas.

Digital Marketing Manager role:

  • This role is CRM focused, strategically covering the operations side of the customer experience with acquisition and retention.
  • The role has impact with on-boarding B2B businesses and how much they spend.
  • Works a lot with dashboards and content creation working with the copy/comms team.
  • You will need to be hands-on with managing and optimising the CRM systems (Salesforce) with the support of a Marketing Exec.
  • There is senior direction for the person, but they are looking for someone capable of owning the role and developing relationships with UK stakeholders to effect vendors' experience of the on-boarding and retention processes.
  • The role will also be involved in large-scale strategic special projects.
  • The role has elements of creative around events and is involved in social, paid media, SEO aspects but focuses on the CRM and the business' digital operations, improving customer experience.

The main reason the European Marketing Director this role works with stayed and worked through to their Lead role is the people. It's fun, varied with opportunity, not really for someone used to long processes and procedures to evolve and implement strategy. A lot of the marketing team have agency background.
