Major Global Luxury Hotel Group role. Senior Sales Manager and Team Lead role managing a small team of Business Development Managers. Prior experience working with Travel Management Companies is required. £70-80k plus bonus. Must be London area based. WFH/remote role, with travel approximately 30% for travel agency visits and conferences, including occasional international trips.
As a Senior Sales Manager, you will work on your own portfolio of around 6 major leisure and luxury travel agencies. The role ensures regular contact with agents and develops business relationships with front-line agents through webinars, training workshops, in-person visits, and territory events to promote awareness of the Hotel Group’s portfolio of brands. You will deliver and present relevant sales materials to encourage maximum sales for the Hotel Group’s products and services.
You’ll build strong relationships with TMC partners through webinars, events, newsletters, email blasts, and promotions. Plan and deliver impactful presentations and partner engagement activities, and travel for agency visits and events. The role is roughly 60% proactive engagement with TMC partners and 40% team management and administration.
As a Team Lead, you will coach, nurture, train, and develop a small high-performing TMC sales team and lead weekly team and individual meetings. You’ll agree and communicate individual goals and targets for their portfolio of travel agencies and provide measurement and monitoring of individual and team achievement against targets. You will evaluate individual performance through market share and revenue reports as well as client activities deployed, reporting in Salesforce.
The Senior Sales Manager works with the personable Global Director who will support your reporting back on KPIs, data, and ROI. You also have a central operations team for commercial direction, data, and guidance. The Global Director provides a lot of commercial direction, and then it is up to the Team Leads globally with their small Business Development Manager teams to execute the strategies with their list of accounts.
They are looking for good analytical and commercial awareness to evaluate data and market insights to prioritise accounts and maximise revenue opportunities. You’ll need to prioritise agencies based on analysis of market share and room night data and formulate the sales strategy for each agency. Using relevant data and reports, you’ll plan and structure the content of the calls and presentations with agency activity based on relevant data and information.
You will also evaluate individual performance through market share and revenue reports as well as understanding of resource deployment. They are seeking an experienced sales leader to drive growth across key TMC partners in EMEA & APAC. This role combines team leadership with hands-on business development, managing relationships with major TMC partners. You will also lead a regional sales team, drive targeted commercial initiatives, analyse performance, and expand market share across a diverse portfolio of hotel brands within a leading global hospitality company.
Remote working close-knit team, with some travel to meet your portfolio of agencies.
