The Role
As an International Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing our client’s international sales and distribution activity, with a particular focus on driving growth within the US market.

  • Lead the strategy for US cinema releases, coordinating closely with key stakeholders across the territory and managing relationships with venues, scheduling priorities, and contractual obligations.
  • Secure and renegotiate agreements, renewals, and collaborative partnerships that underpin sustainable expansion across other international markets.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance relationships with global distribution partners, ensuring transparent communication and alignment on release plans, performance targets, and shared objectives.
  • Analyse performance across international markets, extract meaningful insights, and refine strategies to maximise audience reach, commercial impact, and long‑term revenue.
  • Work in partnership with wider distribution and marketing teams to accelerate growth in the US market and cultivate new industry relationships.

The Person
The successful candidate will bring substantial experience in international film sales and distribution, with a solid understanding of theatrical markets, contractual negotiations, and the nuances of operating across different territories, particularly the US. You will have a strong grasp of the film or event cinema landscape, familiarity with film markets, and an active interest in art and culture. Strong financial acumen, an analytical mindset, and commercial awareness are essential, as is the ability to work effectively with teams across multiple departments.
