THE COMPANY

Our client is a global leader in delivering complex live broadcast facilities and production services to major content creators and distributors.

THE ROLE

As the Head of HR, you will lead the delivery of the people strategy across the US business. Working closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team, you will provide strategic guidance while ensuring strong operational HR delivery.

  • Partner with senior leaders to align workforce planning, organisational design and people initiatives with business priorities.
  • Oversee HR operations including payroll, benefits, leave administration and employee lifecycle processes across multiple states.
  • Manage employee relations such as investigations, performance issues, grievances and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain compliance through policy updates, regulatory monitoring and multi‑state employment law oversight.
  • Drive talent acquisition and development including hiring practices, succession planning and leadership development.
  • Use HR data to inform decision‑making and identify workforce trends.
  • Collaborate with Group HR to implement global initiatives and people programmes.
  • Manage HR budgets and external providers to ensure cost‑effective service delivery.
  • Lead and develop HR team members where applicable.

THE PERSON

You should be an experienced HR leader with strong communication, influencing and stakeholder‑management skills. It is important you have a solid understanding of employee relations, multi‑state employment law (particularly Californian) and HR best practice, along with the ability to navigate change and support leaders in a client‑focused setting. You should be highly organised and confident managing sensitive matters with discretion.

HR experience in an operational or managed service environment is key, ideally having worked as an HR Business Partner or HR leader. Experience overseeing multi‑state payroll processes and working with payroll systems, preferably ADP Workforce Now is advantageous. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
