THE ROLE
As the Head of YouTube, you will set the vision and own the company’s entire YouTube ecosystem and its commercial impact. Managing a vast network of channels and over videos, this is a high-profile leadership position operating at the executive level. You will shape company-wide initiatives, be the most senior company representative with Google/YouTube, and lead a high-performing, 40+ person organisation. This role balances board-facing strategic leadership with the sharp commercial instinct needed to pioneer new revenue opportunities, expand the digital footprint, and keep the company at the absolute forefront of the platform.

THE PERSON
With extensive experience driving large-scale YouTube networks, digital video distribution businesses, and AVOD platform strategies, you will have deep expertise in YouTube’s ecosystem, including algorithms, Shorts, Connected TV (CTV), YouTube Kids, and large-scale copyright and content management frameworks. Commercially astute, you will have a strong track record of owning significant revenue targets and growing diversified revenue streams across digital media, video, or entertainment businesses. Using a data-driven approach, you will be skilled at turning platform insights and performance metrics into clear strategies that drive growth and maximise commercial performance. You will be an inspiring people leader with experience managing and developing large, multi-layered teams and fostering a high-performance culture. Confident in building senior stakeholder relationships, you will be capable of managing key partnerships with platforms and represent the function at executive, board, and investor level.
