THE COMPANY

Our client is one of the most respected independent post-production facilities in the UK known for its work across feature films, and drama, factual and entertainment.

THE ROLE

As Business Development Director, you will pay a key role in the development of new and existing business and client relationships within the company.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth and expand the client base
  • Log and analyse sales activity for effective follow-ups
  • Pursue new business while maintaining strong client relationships
  • Assist in pitching for high-value contracts
  • Support business growth and industry reputation
  • Liaise with clients and facilitate post-production handovers
  • Create precise quotes and pricing schedules
  • Stay updated on market trends and technologies
  • Contribute to financial forecasts and reporting
  • Represent the company at industry events and build relationships

THE PERSON

With some solid sales experience within a long-form post-production house, you will have an excellent network of clients within the TV production industry.

Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills are essential for this role as is a strategic mindset and the ability to drive business growth and client satisfaction.

You should be proficient at budgeting and forecasting and have a deep understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies.
