ABOUT THE POSITION
At Searchlight Cyber, we have built the world\’s best Continuous Threat and Exposure monitoring platform. Our technology is trusted by companies worldwide, from innovative startups to Fortune 100 enterprises, and we help to protect hundreds of thousands of assets from compromise.
We are expanding our infrastructure team to optimize costs, improve performance and increase resilience. We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer who can help us transition critical services from AWS to colocation data centers, build and maintain bare metal kubernetes clusters and support our reliability engineers in diagnosing and resolving infrastructure challenges.
Occasionally, this role will require you to work outside regular work hours in case of emergencies.
WHAT WILL I DO?
- Migrate selected services from AWS to other data centers.
- Design, deploy and manage bare metal Kubernetes cluster.
- Optimize database schemas to improve efficiency.
- Support site reliability engineers in troubleshooting and maintaining infrastructure.
- Enhance monitoring and alerting to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Use IaC.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, preferably on bare metal servers.
- Deep knowledge of networking, Linux and infrastructure automation.
- Expertise in colocation planning and managing infrastructure outside of hyperscale providers.
- Familiarity with SRE and DevOps practice to support high development speed and resilience.
- Experience with Python or Golang for automation would be useful.
- Hands on experience of database schema analysis and optimization would also be a benefit.
