About Searchland & Buildscout

Searchland is a high-growth, B2B PropTech company transforming how businesses and individuals access and leverage property data. Our platform empowers property developers, land agents, architects, and planners with real-time insights — helping them make smarter, data-driven decisions when acquiring and developing land.

In just six years, we've built one of the UK's most advanced property data pipelines, integrating thousands of data sources and processing terabytes of information with less than 24-hour latency. Our cutting-edge platform is shaping the future of property intelligence.

We also operate Buildscout, our sister brand - a lead generation platform for the construction and trade industries. Both brands sit under the same roof and share the same People team, which means this role recruits across both businesses. You'll need to get under the skin of what each product does and who it serves and be able to speak confidently to candidates about the difference between them.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Talent Acquisition Partner to join our People team. This is a pivotal role for us — you'll own our end-to-end recruitment delivery across the business, managing a mix of commercial, operational, and technical roles while keeping a fast-moving hiring process running smoothly and professionally.

You'll work closely with hiring managers and stakeholders across the business, run structured qualification calls, and ensure every candidate gets a clear, timely experience. Alongside recruitment, you'll support new starter administration, onboarding and People Operations — making this a great opportunity for someone who wants to broaden into generalist HR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end recruitment for all active vacancies - from scoping the brief to extending the offer.
  • Proactively source high-calibre candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, talent pools, and direct outreach, using innovative and standard approaches.
  • Conduct structured qualification calls and give hiring managers clear, evidenced recommendations.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to take a tight brief, push back on vague requirements, and keep them accountable to timelines and feedback loops.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and feedback collection end-to-end.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate and pipeline data in the ATS at all times with clean data hygiene.
  • Draft job adverts and manage postings across relevant channels.
  • Prepare regular pipeline updates and hiring forecasts for the Head of People.
  • Support new starter administration from offer acceptance through to day one - contracts, right-to-work checks, system access, equipment coordination, and new joiner communications.
  • Identify and suggest improvements to hiring processes where you spot inefficiencies.

Candidate Experience & Employer Brand

  • Act as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the process - responsive, clear, and human at every touchpoint.
  • Ensure every candidate - successful or not - leaves the process with a positive impression of Searchland.

Essential Experience

  • Right to work in the UK - we cannot offer sponsorship for this role.
  • Proven experience running end-to-end recruitment independently across commercial and technical roles.
  • Confident conducting structured qualification calls and giving hiring managers a clear go/no-go signal with reasoning.
  • Skilled in proactive sourcing.
  • Experienced with ATS systems and disciplined about keeping them current.
  • Comfortable supporting basic HR and People Operations admin alongside your core recruitment responsibilities.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience working with start/scale ups.
  • Previous experience with SaaS and/or Tech businesses.
  • International recruitment experience particularly in APAC using an EOR.

Interview Process

  • Stage 1: Initial screening call.
  • Stage 2: Recruitment task with our Head of People.
  • Stage 3: Interview with Founders.

Why Join Us?

  • Generous Time Off: 37 days off in total, including your birthday and a full Christmas shutdown.
  • Flexibility & Equipment: We offer flexible and hybrid working as well as WFH equipment provided so you can work well no matter where.
  • Growth & Development: We invest in your progression with a £500 annual fund to spend on courses, conferences or qualifications.
  • Health & Wellbeing: Your health matters. We cover it – physically, dentally and mentally with Vitality private healthcare.
  • Culture & Perks: We work hard and we celebrate together – food, fun and plenty of team moments including a monthly free lunch and team activities & events.
  • Fair & Transparent Compensation: We always share our salary ranges, progression frameworks and have a salary sacrifice pension scheme.

Our Commitment to Inclusion

We are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered to thrive. We welcome applications from all backgrounds, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, religion, or any other characteristic. If you require any adjustments during the recruitment process, please let us know – we are happy to support you.
