We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager who has a proven background within the real estate, property, or land sector. This role is not suitable for candidates without industry experience.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive new business opportunities by engaging with decision-makers across the real estate, construction, land, and PropTech industries (via calls, video meetings, and in-person).
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations of the Searchland platform, tailoring messaging to customer needs and industry challenges.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers understand how to maximise value from the platform and embed it into their workflows.
  • Capture and share customer insights, including user feedback, market trends, and opportunities for product enhancement.
  • Partner with the wider team and founders to continuously evolve the sales strategy and contribute to company growth.
  • Refine and implement effective sales processes, balancing autonomy with our best-practice customer journey framework.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance self-service sales and contribute to scaling initiatives.
  • Represent Searchland at industry events, building relationships and raising brand awareness.

Essential

  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Development Manager or equivalent senior sales role.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience within Real Estate, Land, Planning, or PropTech. This is non-negotiable.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver impactful product demonstrations (virtually and in person).
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms such as HubSpot, with a structured approach to pipeline management.
  • A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Skilled at presenting to a variety of stakeholders, adapting communication style to different audiences.
