As one of the earlier members of the Buildscout sales team, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of your work, contribute ideas, and play a meaningful role in the growth of the business.

You will proactively engage prospective clients through outbound activity, build strong relationships, understand their commercial needs, and demonstrate how Buildscout can help them generate high quality construction leads.
This is a hands on sales role where you will work closely with the Commercial Director and wider team, while also having the opportunity to share ideas that help improve our sales approach, customer experience and product.

- Drive outbound activity to create new business opportunities.
- Qualify inbound leads and understand whether Buildscout is the right solution for their needs.
- Deliver product demonstrations and clearly communicate the value of the Buildscout platform.
- Understand prospective customers’ challenges and advise them on how Buildscout can support their business.
- Maintain strong communication with prospects throughout the sales process.
- Keep up with trends across the property, construction and wider built environment sectors.
- Track sales performance and activity through the CRM.
- Provide insights and feedback that can help improve sales strategies and processes.
- Share customer and prospect feedback with the wider team to support product development.
- Take ownership of personal sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK. We cannot offer sponsorship for this role.
- London based or within reasonable commuting distance of our Old Street office.
- A genuine interest in sales and a desire to develop within a commercial role.
- Self motivation, resilience and the ability to thrive within a fast paced startup environment.
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging prospective customers.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills, both virtually and in person.
- Ability to manage your time independently and work proactively.
- Comfortable learning and using CRM and sales tools.
- Previous experience with HubSpot is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided.
- An interest in real estate, construction, property technology or SaaS would be beneficial.
