Job Overview:
Our client is looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Tax Analyst to join our tax team. The successful candidate will support compliance, reporting, and advisory activities, ensuring the business meets all tax obligations and operates efficiently within the UK tax framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review UK corporation tax computations and returns for submission to HMRC.
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax reporting, including deferred tax calculations and disclosures.
- Support VAT compliance and reporting processes.
- Monitor and analyse changes in UK tax legislation and assess the impact on the business.
- Assist in responding to HMRC queries and managing audits.
- Support tax planning and advisory projects, including R&D claims, transfer pricing, and group relief.
- Collaborate with finance and business teams to provide tax guidance on operational matters.
- Assist with maintaining transfer pricing documentation.
- Contribute to process improvements and the enhancement of tax controls and governance.
- Liaise with external tax advisors and auditors as required.
Key Requirements:
- Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of UK corporation tax and VAT compliance.
